Monsters & Magic: The Book of Cults (2022)

Religion has the power to change us. New religions have the power to mesmerize us, familiar religions have the power to console or terrify us. It changes lives. It dictates lives.

The Book of Cults almost 250 full-colour pages will feature up to 30 cults for you to explore. Twelve major cults, which each come in their own chapter and features new character options, custom monsters, treasures and an adventure, and up to 18 minor cults imagined by you!

"Untitles Corbeau Cox Piece" (2014)

Published in: North East Writers Sampler, Volume 2

 

A 2,500 word sample of my work-in-progress novel was published in this anthology of contemporary writing. The anthology provides a sample of up-and-coming talent in the North East of England.

 

Dr Corbeau Cox, forensic pathologist, examines the scene of a crime where a young woman has been flayed, drained and left on a bed of flowers, her eyes gouged out.

Howl (2020)

Howl is a short story about an orphan girl who is adopted by a pack of wolves. When humans try to bring her back into their world, it proves to be deadly.

Comprising twenty-five pieces of original fiction, the Young Writers’ Anthology showcases new voices in British fiction.

 

Dotty Grimm is an extract from a larger story about a fairy tale detective, who is investigating the disappearance of Melody Hood.

The Swan Princess is a narrative piece. It telsl the tale of old man as he reflects of the time spent with his now-deceased wife.
